WSRP(Web Services for Remote Portals):WebサービスをGUIで組み合わせるWSRP。Webアプリケーションやコンテンツをポートレットとして扱えるようにし、マウスなどで操作するGUI部品を使って画面にポートレットを配置するだけでポータル構築を可能にするというもの。各ポートレットをプラグ&プレイで組み合わせることができ、アプリケーション固有の整合作業や手作業での調整は必要なくなる。

WATS: Wide Area Telephone Service and 800/888 "toll-free

with large-volume outbound calling. 800/888 service provides

BGP4:Border
Gateway Protocol 4 - BGP-4 provides a new set of mechanisms
for supporting classless interdomain routing. These mechanisms
include support for advertising an IP prefix and eliminates
the concept of network "class" within BGP. BGP-4 also introduces
mechanisms which allow aggregation of routes, including aggregation
of AS paths. These changes provide support for the proposed
supernetting scheme
OSPF:Open Shortest-Path First Interior Gateway
Protocol - A link state routing protocol, as opposed to a distance
vector routing protocol. It is one of the Internet standard
Interior Gateway Protocols defined in RFC 1247.
MPLS proposes a network architecture that employs
two main types of routers:
LER (Label Edge Routers) located at the
edge of the network to perform traditional routing function
(layer 3) and for connectivity to user networks
LSR (Label Switching Routers) located
in the core of the network to perform high-performance
Label Switching Routing (layer 2).
MPLS network architecture can in itself increase
core network performance and capacity by a factor of ten over
traditional routing. Furthermore, MPLS networks retain full
compatibility with existing IP based systems and thus protect
current investments.
