descriptions below to decide which one of the lists might be best for you.
Remember, you can join both the lists if you wish to do
so.

quite ready to support Devanagari fonts.
Description of Lists
Hindi-L1
This list is for beginner level and intermediate
level students who can express their thoughts in simple language.
Participants can talk about self, school, family, friends, movies, and other
topics of general interest. The length of an e-mail message may be anywhere
from 3 or 4 sentences to a small paragraph.
The language of e-mail messages may not be totally error free in this list
because students may not have internalized all the grammar rules and other
rules of language use.
Hindi-L2
This list is for students at advanced and other
levels beyond. Students should be able to discuss a variety of topics and
present their own views about issues. Students may write one or more
paragraphs in an interaction.
